We are looking for a HRIS Workday Analyst, who will play a critical part in engineering top-notch products and services in a unique industry and at a rapidly growing organization.

As the HRIS Analyst, you will be responsible for maintaining the integrity and reliability of Element’s HRIS Systems. The role is mainly responsible for end-user support and actively configuring the platform for various projects while being the main point of contact responsible for HCM, Reporting, Integrations, Learning, Recruiting and Talent. 

A Day in the Life  

  • Work closely with the Workday team to provide day-to-day support, troubleshooting and implementation and testing of enhancements in the areas of: HCM, Payroll and Benefits Integrations, Recruiting, Absence, Learning and as well as any additional modules as required.

  • Acts as a first point of contact (Tier-1) for user guidance and advice. Responds to queries and issues related to supported systems, analyzing the issue to identify the root cause. Solve the issue directly or works with appropriate SMEs/vendors for issue resolution.

  • Support the Workday team with Bi-Annual releases / roadmap and the potential impact of those plans on current and future Workday functionality.

  • Assist with defining, documenting, and implementing efficient and standardized global business processes to improve efficiencies and internal controls.

  • Execute data cleansing scripts and processes to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness within the HRIS. Implement data quality assurance measures and perform regular audits to identify and rectify data discrepancies. 

  • Work closely with the Payroll team to ensure integrations are active, resolve and escalate (if necessary) risks and issues.

  • Collaborate on the design and execution of integrations with Payroll and benefit carrier systems.

  • Thoroughly perform regression tests and facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) across teams.

  • Assist with testing as required – may include identification of test cases, reviewing test cases and coordination of user acceptance testing.

  • Perform regular audits to ensure data integrity and support the team to develop standard operating procedures for critical HR processes.

  • Track and assist in resolving system configuration issues and bugs.

  • Convert business requirements into functional specifications for implementation and optimization of common workflows and tasks.

  • Support the development and maintenance of end-user support materials and guides.

  • Develop and maintain HRIS system process documentation including periodic file feeds and integrations.

  • Communicate effectively and work well with complex multi-disciplinary teams

  • Additional duties as required and assigned by management.

  • This position does not have direct reports.


  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Human Resources Management, HRIS or related field required; Master’s degree preferred. 

  • A minimum of 1 year of Workday systems, support and analyst experience required. 

  • Project management experience with global Workday projects. 

  • Demonstrated functional experience in Human Resources, Payroll, or Financials Management. 

  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively manage stakeholder expectations. 

  • Strong problem-solving and effective judgement in identifying solutions. 

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint programs. 

  • Understanding of HR operations and experience in employee data management.
