To fulfill this mission as Human Resources Advisory, Partner, you will partner with the Senior HR Advisor to drive organizational design and effectiveness, value creation for our internal and external stakeholders, strategic business alignment, talent engagement and learning development solutions.

In this role, you will support EPRI's Corporate Affairs, Legal, Information and Domestic M&TS Departments where you will be responsible for the delivery of a full range of human resource services; plan, lead, direct, develop and coordinate the HR policies and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities (include but not limited to):

  • Support and deliver the Human Resources and Diversity (HRD) Strategic priorities

  • Advise executives and their managers on HR best practices

  • Guarantee consistency in HR practices aligned with the HR policies and practices

  • Act as a strategic advisor and thought partner to the business leaders and serve as a valued strategic contributor to the HRD leadership

  • Guarantee timely delivery on projects and deliverables to all stakeholders

  • Coach, mentor, supervise managers and employees

  • Provide advice on policies, procedures, and legislation

  • Advise managers on how to approach employee requests, concerns and reported problems

  • Partner with managers to advise and manage teams’ performance, talent management, learning solutions, career growth, engagement, and retention

  • Manage grievances and disciplinary processes

  • Provide HR-related support and guidance in the areas of employment termination, conflict resolution, and performance analyses

  • Contribute to improving business processes by overseeing policy implementation

  • Identify and recommend areas for improvement by carrying out regular surveys and collecting teams’ feedback

  • Design and implement innovative HR processes to boost business operations

  • Keep track and manage key performance indicators for operations

  • Lead change management processes in partnership with the managers

  • Provide advice to managers on how to approach employee requests, concerns, and reported concerns

  • Design and advise operational structures and organizational roadmaps that will deliver success, support career development, succession planning, talent management, and performance management to each operations’ team

  • Manage employee inquiries and address proactively solutions to help maintain positive employee relations

  • Identify learning and development opportunities and partner with the L&D team to deliver accordingly

  • Lead calibrations and people reviews discussions for each operations’ team

  • Adopt and anticipate on strategic initiatives

  • Guarantee the HR function as a trusted partner, advisor and resource to leadership and teams at all levels and in all areas of the Institute

  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to develop and deliver for operations comprehensive strategic recruiting and retention plans to meet the human capital needs for current and future talent needs

  • Collaborate with operations’ leaders to understand the skills and competencies required to achieve EPRI’s goals currently as well as future growth

  • Participate in the budget process for HRD

  • Play an integral role with building a culture of trust, respect, collaboration

Education & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or equivalent experience required.

  • A Professional Certification in Human Resources

  • 3-5 years of progressive experience in HR advisory roles or related

  • Track record of effectively diagnosing, designing, and delivering division-wide interventions

  • Demonstrated a leadership track record with the ability to influence senior leaders and employees to enforce company policies and practices

  • Working knowledge of the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) experience with Workday preferred.

  • Strong computer skills including HRIS, Excel, and database applications.

Experience:

  • Experience working effectively in a team environment

  • Experience in providing advice and support to senior executives on strategic matters

  • Experience in leading projects and implementing new initiatives

  • Experience creating and implementing company policies

  • Proven track record of successfully executing HR strategies

  • Experience in HR reporting and analytics

Office Presence:

  • This position requires the selected individual to work from the EPRI Charlotte office 3 days per week

The salary range for this position is $104,500 USD to $120,750 USD annually.

This salary range is an estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on various factors, including without limitation applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.

This role is eligible to participate in EPRI’s annual incentive program. The amount of incentive varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the plan.

This role is eligible to participate in EPRI’s standard employee benefit programs, which currently include the following: medical, dental, vision, 401k, STD/LTD and paid family leave, life and accident insurance, paid time off (flexible vacation, sick leave, and holiday pay).

EPRI participates in E-Verify, an online system operated jointly by the Department of Homeland Security and the Social Security Administration (SSA).
