EQ is seeking a full-cycle Recruiter to join our growing team in Mendota Heights, MN. Reporting to the Human Resources Director, the Recruiter will work closely with the business hiring managers to determine needed skills and personal attributes for the roles they are filling. They will then determine effective methods to identify, source, qualify and present candidates in a timely manner. 

This Recruiter will manage the full-cycle recruitment process from initial needs identification meeting to offer development and all steps in between.

Business Function

This is an exciting opportunity to join EQ’s fast paced environment, as it grows within the United States and contribute to projects such as shaping recruiting strategies and tactics, improving candidate experience processes, assisting with EQ employer brand development and workforce planning.

Core Duties/Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

  • Effectively use multiple recruiting sources and strategies to meet hiring goals

  • Day to day management of the recruitment process, (including sourcing, selection, and on-boarding) looking for ways to introduce greater efficiency and deliver cost savings, while securing high caliber talent for EQ

  • Enhancement of our employer brand to raise the profile of EQ as an employer of choice

  • Building strong talent pipelines of qualified candidates for current and future positions

  • Work collaboratively with full-time recruiting and temporary staffing vendors as needed

  • Build and maintain successful relationships with department managers

  • Producing helpful information identifying trends, risks and issues including headcount forecasting, market trend insights and temporary employee utilization

  • Assist with the on-boarding of new talent

Required Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of full-cycle recruitment experience in a fast-paced work environment

  • Solid understanding of core recruiting skills and methods including sourcing strategies, behavioral interviewing, candidate vetting, etc.

  • Demonstrates partnership and collaborative work approach with internal team members and business colleagues in the delivery of programs and initiatives; experience managing vendor relationships

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication ability (both written and verbal) with service-oriented mind-set

  • Exercise sound judgment; retain the highest degree of confidentiality; demonstrate a sense of urgency while delivering superior execution and results

  • Strong analytical skills; attention to detail

  • Solid problem-solving skills, results oriented, takes initiative, investigates and assumes accountability

  • Adaptable and resilient to change; a team player who can easily handle shifting priorities and multi-tasking in a deadline-oriented environment

  • Demonstrated ability to succeed and produce results with limited oversight

  • Strong knowledge and interest in systems and technologies that support benefits administration; need to be technology confident and curious

  • Proficient in HRIS platform utilization; Workday HRIS platform experience not required but a significant plus for any candidate

  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office, with demonstrated capability in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams; must be able to utilize and build tables, pivot tables, and utilize formulaic and look-ups to pull data efficiently.

Desired Qualifications

  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree

  • Recruiter certifications and/or SHRM PHR certification

  • Previous experience working in a start-up environment a plus
