Role Summary:
Workday integrates with many applications, and these are often evolving. Other applications may also require integrations that don’t involve Workday so this role will need to adapt to take these on too. The ability run reports for these integrations is also important.
Core Duties/Responsibilities
- Develop, configure, and test technical integrations using Workday Studio Developer, Workday RaaS Integrations, Enterprise Interface Building (EIB).
- Monitor and maintain interfaces between Workday and internal/external vendor systems.
- Manage all integrations across Corporate IT
- Work with the reconciliations team to improve processes, investigate issues and provide more automation
- Work closely with the IT Azure AD team and other applications managers, including 3rd parties
Skills, Capabilities and Attributes
Key Responsibilities:
- Familiarity with the Workday object model as well as demonstrated proficiency with Web Services, SOAP, XML, XSLT, REST, JSON, HTTP, SSL, PGP, SAML, etc.
- Use of working with BIRT and different types of layouts (invoices, cheques, purchase orders).
- Knowledge of testing concepts and integration frameworks (e.g., middleware, transformation logic) Data conversion concepts and impacts on business processes (such as Workday iLoads or bulk data loading).
- Has worked with API clients
- Has created integration business process’ including document delivery and comfortable creating and maintaining PGP / SSH Keys
- Ability to create a wide range of custom reports (e.g. Advanced, matrix etc) and a wide range of calculated fields.
- Use and understanding of document transformations and XSLT.
- Strong understanding of the Workday security model.
- Experience of both Finance and HCM modules / integrations preferred.
- Experience of researching and testing new features in the bi-annual Releases
- Familiar with the Workday report catalogue in Customer Centre
