Talent Acquisition Manager

ERM is hiring an experienced recruiter to join our team as a Talent Acquisition Manager to focus on senior roles hires in the Southern European Region (Spain, Portugal, Italy, France, Belgium and The Netherlands).

This role will be based at the ERM Barcelona or Madrid office.

The ideal candidate

We are looking for someone with strong candidate engagement skills and takes prides in delivering first class candidate experience. You know how to build trust based relationship and manage stakeholders at senior level. You are also someone with the ability to build ERM brand and inspire senior business leaders to join ERM. You have a research-based approach to recruitment and are able to leverage market data to influence staff/hiring decisions.

The Role

Role responsibilities

  • Work closely with senior business leaders to develop deep understanding of ERM’s market, business drivers and skill requirement and leverage this knowledge to develop and execute search strategy

  • Manage the end to end recruitment process from requisition through to interview and offer for consultant hires for the SE region

  • Ensure that all recruitment is diligently managed on ERM’s recruitment system – ‘Workday Recruitment’ – from the creation of a vacancy to the completion of a successful hire

  • Proactively develop talent pipeline to support future hiring needs

  • Provide/leverage external talent market insight and relevant compensation data to develop search strategy and to support the business to make an informed hiring decision

  • Engage with local in-country HR team to assist in the generation of employment offers and contract documentation

  • Produce relevant recruitment reports and metrics as required to communicate and track recruitment progress

  • Ensure compliance to GDPR and other local data protection requirements, employment law and equal opportunities monitoring and philosophy


  • Experienced in the recruitment of technical, consulting and/or scientific related skills ideally in the environmental, civil engineering, oil & energy and/ or management consulting industry sector preferred

  • Experienced in the usage of social media channels to proactively source for suitable candidates as well as a strong working knowledge of other local recruitment channels

  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills with experience of working with and managing senior managers on their recruitment requirements,

  • Strong interviewing skills able to coach and develop ERM hiring managers to improve assessment and identification of future hires

  • Experience and rigorous usage of recruitment system technology; e. g. Workday Recruitment

  • Fluent English and French language skills in both verbal and written communication.
