Position Summary:

Are you a seasoned contract management professional with deep experience supporting ERP services in higher education and government sectors? Are you ready to take ownership of a new, high-impact role and help build a function from the ground up?

ERPA is seeking a Contract Operations Manager for a newly created individual contributor role reporting to the CFO. This position offers the unique opportunity to build and standardize contract management operations from the ground up while also managing the full contract lifecycle—pre-award through closeout—across multiple practice areas. You'll drive process development, ensure compliance, and lead day-to-day contract management activities.

ERPA is building a candidate bench for anticipated upcoming hiring needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all contract management activities across ERPA’s Workday, PeopleSoft, and AWS practice areas

  • Drive consistency and efficiency by developing standardized processes, procedures, workflows, approvals, and tools for contract management

  • Recommend and help implement an effective contract management system

  • Point of contact for contract review, negotiation, modifications, execution, and renewal processes

  • Manage a variety of documents, including MSAs, SOWs, NDAs, Teaming Agreements, etc.

  • Evaluate RFP terms and conditions to identify and mitigate financial and business risks

  • Collaborate across departments to align contract-related efforts and support shared goals

  • Participate in pricing reviews during proposal development

  • Validate project profitability, governance and monitoring

  • Investigate and resolve contract-related issues

  • Identify and address potential conflicts of interest

  • Engage with customers and internal teams to ensure contractual compliance and reporting

  • Ensure adherence policies, processes, and regulatory requirements

  • Analyze and track profitability for each contract

  • Make well-informed decisions aligned with internal policies and applicable laws and regulations

  • Support the CFO on special projects as assigned

Experience and Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education)

  • Minimum of 5 years of contract management experience, including oversight of contract timelines, renewals, modifications, and compliance with specific terms (e.g., 1099, offshore requirements, data security).

  • At least 3 years of experience managing ERP service contracts for higher education and government clients

  • Strong understanding of U.S. contract management standards, procurement practices, and compliance requirements

  • Familiarity with federal, state, and local contracting laws and regulations

  • Excellent research and analytical abilities

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Effective interpersonal and teamwork skills

  • Clear and professional communication, both written and verbal

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

  • Experience with Workday and Salesforce preferred
