Job Summary:

The Human Resource Information System (HRIS) Analyst will support and maintain the organization’s human resources information system module (Workday). This role will provide technical expertise on HRIS system management including but not limited to: file builds, integration maintenance, business process support, and supporting workforce data reporting efforts.

The HRIS Analyst will report to the Vice President of Compensation, Benefits, HRIS & Payroll. This is a hybrid role, with the ideal candidate being based near our corporate office in Phoenix, AZ.

Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee and maintain optimal function of Workday, which may include installation, customization, development, maintenance, and upgrade to applications, systems, and modules.

  • Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to Workday users.

  • Apply configuration knowledge to architect solutions, taking into account all significant capabilities, features and functionality.

  • Lead and participate in the review, testing and implementation of bi-annual Workday releases; determine impact, participate in regression testing for new system features and communication of changes/benefits to end users.

  • Complete EIB’s when needed

  • Collaborate with leadership and HR team members to identify system improvements and enhancements; recommends and implements solutions.

  • Manage permissions, access, personalization, and similar system operations and settings for HRIS users.

  • Ensure system compliance with data security and privacy requirements.

  • Maintain knowledge of trends and developments in HRIS providers, vendors, and technology and uses that knowledge to update existing Workday functionality.

  • Research and participate in Workday community to resolve issues where answers are unknown and implement those solutions.

  • Maintain existing file feeds / integrations with third party vendors, and has the ability to build new integrations where necessary. 

  • Develop reports for ongoing needs across the business. Regularly audit existing and new reports to ensure data integrity.

  • Maintain existing Workday business processes, and leads development of new processes where necessary. 

  • Effectively partner with and support departments across the organization, including benefits, payroll, finance & accounting, operations, IT and more. 

  • Build and maintain workforce data analytics dashboard, providing metrics for key organizational data points including turnover, diversity, headcount, engagement, and more.

  • Analyze workforce data to provide key trends to senior leadership.

  • Perform other duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, human resources or equivalent work experience. 

  • Minimum 3 years of Workday experience – HCM, Benefits, Time Tracking, Expense Management, etc.

  • Experience with Workday studio, dashboards, and discovery boards. 

  • Experience building workforce data analytics dashboards and providing in-depth analysis to key business leaders.

  • Strong knowledge of Workday business processes with ability to maintain/troubleshoot existing processes. 

  • Proven ability to build and maintain reports and integrations with the ability to audit for data integrity purposes.

  • Ability to support multiple departments across the organization with troubleshooting, reporting requests, process improvements, and more. 

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the proven ability to work well within an HRIS team.
