Be part of our talented and growing team! We are currently looking for an Analyst, Benefits & Wellness, to join our team report to the Senior Manager, Total Rewards.

As an Analyst, Benefits & Wellness, you will contribute to a variety of projects involving the design, and ongoing administration of the full spectrum of health and benefit programs. You will work with vendors and contribute to internal and external communications, support deliverables, provide excellent customer service and ensure quality standards are met. You will have the opportunity to grow your benefits and wellness business acumen as well as your client relationship skills by working on cutting edge projects

WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?

  • Administer the statutory leaves of absence, short-term disability and long-term disability leave, workplace accidents, benefit plans
  • Manage case files including communication with people managers, employees, as well as benefits providers to obtain further information as required, etc.
  • Provide advice to people managers and employees on all wellness, and disability management related issues
  • Support people managers and employees in the return to work and workplace accommodation processes
  • Assist employees with enrollment in benefits programs, such as health insurance and retirement savings.
  • Conduct presentations and meetings to explain benefits to employees.
  • Handle benefits inquiries and complaints to ensure quick, equitable, courteous resolution.
  • Ensure that the company's benefits policies comply with laws and regulations.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of existing benefits policies, guidelines and procedures recommending plan revision as well as new plans that are cost-effective and consistent with corporate objectives
  • Collaborate with benefits vendors on all aspects of plan administration, inquiries, and troubleshooting
  • Provide advice to employees on policies, processes and guidelines interpretation.
  • Ensure compliance to the Group Insurance Plan, Disability Management and Service Canada regulations
  • Perform year-end group benefits and pension plan audit and taxable benefit data reconciliation
  • Administer Wellness strategy involving the intranet wellness page, wellness calendar, EAP and related activities
  • Collaborate with the Internal communication team on Wellness communication strategy
  • Build relationships internally and collaborate effectively on cross-functional teams.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Demonstrated knowledge of disability management principles and practices
  • 2+ years related work experience
  • Proven ability to manage multiple programs simultaneously and produce quality deliverables on time under minimal supervision.
  • Flexibility and proven ability to identify and resolve issues
  • Strong client service orientation and ability to respond to all communications effectively and in a timely manner
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of Workday, an asset
  • Bilingual required to communicate with our clients across Canada
