The Sales Compensation Strategy Analyst will join our Centers of Excellence (CoE) team. This specific role helps craft sales compensation plans, analyzes their performance, and makes recommendations on revisions to ensure we incentivize the right behaviors. This role focuses on plan design. This person will report into the Director of Sales Compensation in the CoE.
Please Note: This role is approved for 100% remote work. Occasional travel for in person collaboration, training and meetings may be possible. Provides analytical support and helps support strategic thought leadership for sales compensation incentive design.
Partner with business group leaders to design incentives to drive the right behaviors.
Review competitive market position – reasonableness of target incentives and commission rates.
Develop and track metrics to assess plan performance.
Work with the Compensation Operational Excellence (OPEX) team to ensure proper administration of sales compensation plans.
Collaborate with Finance, Sales Operations, Legal, Audit and other areas of HR to ensure alignment.
Create and implement sales compensation plan documents.
Team up with HR OPEX teams on distribution of training, presentation and other materials for program rollouts.
1-3 years sales compensation experience in strategy and plan design (not administration or processing of sales compensation)
Ability to organize and prioritize work.
Strong communication skills required.
Ability to develop and deliver effective presentations to groups.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Access, etc.).
CCP, PHR or SPHR preferred.
Experience with Workday, Xactly and PowerBI preferred.
