Your new role

As a IT Analyst, you will support the configuration, deployment, standardization and maintenance of one of the applications in the portfolio of the team: Workday.

A significant focus of this role will be on improvements of current configuration and implementation of new functionalities.

You will report to the Senior Manager HR IT & Legal Application Management in the Global IT organization.


Key Responsibilities:

·       Pro-actively gather requirements from Product Owner/other stakeholders and translate into specifications;

·       Design, test and implement new functionalities according to IT best practices;

·       Deliver training, coaching and support to key users (level 2-3);

·       Configure and maintain integrations within Ferring IT landscape (including EDMS and Edge APIs);

·       Maintain system and user documentation according to IT compliance principles;

·       Ensure compliance of the solution and support key users during audit and inspections;

·       Liaise with 3rd party vendors to ensure the content is delivered and meets stakeholder requirements and specifications;

·       Develop reports for different business units using calculated fields;

·       Improve and monitor processes;

·       Working on existing or new functionalities, and asses impact on governance, security and integrations;

·       Maintain expertise on Workday solutions and emerging technologies to identify areas of opportunities and new roadmap items;

·       As a member of an Agile Team you will also participate to all the agile ceremonies, collaborate to cross-functional projects and support business as usual activities.


Required Education/Qualifications/Skills:

·       3 to 5 years of experience in Workday/HRIS Cloud support and administration with domain expertise in HCM, Recruiting, Compensation, Talent, Reporting, Security or Absence;

·       Any Workday certification is a plus;

·       Ability to build relationships across all organizational levels and collaborate in virtual project teams

·       Familiarity with ITIL Knowledge/Service Management and Agile Delivery principles and frameworks is considered a plus;

·       Intellectual curiosity, adaptability, and a desire to be of service to the team and the broader community;

·       Strong statistical, analytical and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this role, along with customer focus and strong communication skills;

·       Additionally, business acumen and collaboration skills are required, as well as being able to operate in a dynamic environment.

·       Strong interpersonal and influencing skills;
