Manager, Human Resources

Summary:

This position performs a variety of activities in support of the HR business partners.  They will work independently with direction from the HRBP’s.  This position requires a self-motivated professional who anticipates and takes action proactively with some direct supervision and has the ability to handle a multitude of priorities using proven project management skills in a team-based working environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with HRBPs and business leaders to review promotions.
  • Supports the company’s performance & talent management process. Works with HR Business Partners to ensure employees and managers are provided the necessary support to ensure success of the program.
  • At the direction of the HRBP’s, manages employee relation issues such as employee personnel issues, and performance improvement process. Escalates investigations to HR Director.
  • Provide guidance to hiring managers with job description creation and overall recruiting process.
  • Interview grades 5 and below Develop power point presentations for leadership meetings.
  • Partner with HRBP to develop engagement and retention initiatives specific to client groups.
  • Coordinate term process – exit interviews and identify trends. Generate client reports and analyze data to identify trends Workday transactions – promotions, transfers, terms, data clean up.
  • Assist HRPBs with the preparation of reports, completion of projects, and other special assignments.
  • Partner with HRPBs to determine training needs for employees and liaise with L&D to identify training programs.
  • May represent Company and various recruiting events, including job fairs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business or Human Resource required.
  • 7 years work experience with a minimum of 3-5 in HR Broad working knowledge of HR functions and processes preferred.
  • Strong Organizational and Project Management skills experience required.
  • Proven ability to plan, manage and lead cross functional projects to obtain desired business objectives.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify issues, systematically gather relevant information, identify root causes.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management across functions to make decisions.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality, work individually as part of a team, and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong leadership, team building, negotiation and ability to execute required.
