Summary:
FHI is seeking a Recruiting Manager to join our Contingency Recruiting team. This position leads a team of Recruiters and Coordinators that support our contingency project work in building a diverse pipeline of high caliber warehouse personnel.
The Recruiting Manager partners with other Contingency Leadership associates to identify staffing opportunities and needs for both new and current projects. A successful candidate in this role will possess a passion for leadership and the ability to accomplish a wide variety of tasks while leading and the expansion of the contingency recruiting team. This role will make a measurable and meaningful difference by identifying, implementing, and administering best industry practices that help the company achieve its objectives and drive a competitive position in the marketplace.
Essential Functions:
- Recruit, interview, hire, and train recruiting team.
- Manage recruitment efforts for Contingency Field Operations positions
- Manage and maintain job requisitions and postings on company website and Workday
- Create and oversee reporting and resource/utilization tracking
- Coach and develop the performance and behavior of others through establishing expectations, performance standards and ongoing coaching and feedback of the team.
- Partner and collaborate across the organization to develop professional, productive, and trustworthy relationships
- Lead continuous improvement projects within the recruiting area and participate on other organizational projects to improve efficiency of the business
- Lead others through change, employing change management techniques to help move others to adoption quickly
- Ability to maintain confidentiality at the strictest level
- Ability to critically review, summarize, and report findings and recommendations.
- Maintain an attitude and philosophy consistent with FHI culture and standards
- Participate in management and company staff meetings and attend other meetings and seminars as needed.
- Thorough understanding of recruiting methods and best practices, as well as applicable policies and federal, state, and local employment laws
- Analyze business processes and make recommendations to streamline and increase efficiency to make productive use of direct reports
- Function as a strategic partner with the HR Leadership team to continue to grow, redesign, and prepare the team for company growth and change.
- Work independently and capably manage and navigate multiple competing priorities
- Duties, responsibilities, and/or activities may change as position and team grows
Qualifications Required:
- Five (5) years of recruiting experience required.
- Ability to work in a fast pace and ever-changing environment
- Minimum of three (3) years of direct leadership with more than 2 direct reports
- Minimum one (1) year of experience collaborating with associates in non-traditional office environments preferred (distribution, manufacturing, retail, supply chain, etc.)
- Experience using an Applicant Tracking system, HRIS system; Workday experience preferred.
- 5+ years relevant experience in customer service and/or employee relations
- Associate degree in related field or equivalent
