The Benefits Engagement & Wellness Specialist manages JD Finish Line wellness and benefits engagement as well as the Wellness program. This individual will effectively exhibit JD Finish Line’s core values of Customer, People, Winning, Community, and Financial Responsibility in everything they do by performing the following main duties:Â

Through collaboration with the Benefits Manager, develop and execute a wellness and benefits engagement strategy, communication calendar (including maintaining), create/develop communications and delivery to employees through various channels available.
Wellness focused on Physical, Mental, Financial, and Career

Drive and track engagement (Corporate, Customer Care, DC and Retail)

Maintain Google Benefits Site including Content

Maintain Connect (Company Intranet) Content

Assists with the research, implementation and on-going administration of wellness programs.

Support Benefits Manager with the continual development, implementation and evaluation of all wellness (Physical, Mental and Financial) programs/offerings with collaboration of our Health Care Broker.

Maintain multiple vendor relationships.

Maintain Virgin Pulse Wellness Platform to drive engagement and its continued evolution.

Lead and support Wellness Committees (Corporate and Retail).

Responsibility for the development, implementation and schedule of group exercise classes.

Schedule part-time coaches to ensure adequate coverage. Supervise and evaluate the performance of part-time coaches and resolve any issues that may arise.

Monitors the condition of exercise equipment and ensures proper preventative maintenance activities occur. Oversee fitness facilities, ensuring safe and clean facilities and equipment.

Organize and oversee wellness events and activities, such as biometric screenings, flu shot clinic, lunch and learns, blood drives, etc.

Participates in the annual benefits renewal process.

Involved with implementation of new benefit plans or plan changes.

Support annual Open Enrollment including communications and employee meetings

Additional duties and projects as required.
Required Education and/or Experience
Â
Associates or Bachelor’s degree and 1 – 3 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Internal JD Finish Line experience strongly preferred. Experience and/or interest in fitness, heath, wellness and/or benefits strongly preferred.Â

Required Computer and/or Technical Skills
Â
Should have basic to intermediate knowledge and abilities with Google based platforms (Sites/Docs/Sheets/Slides/Forms) or Microsoft platform equivalents (Word/Excel/PowerPoint), as well ability to learn HR systems and functions and relationships of information in the Workday system.
