Job Purpose

What does a great HR Manager/Recruiter do?

In this dynamic role, you will act as an HR business partner within the FOS (Fiserv Output Solutions) leaders. This role will work collaboratively with the Human Resources team to deliver the highest quality service to client leaders and associates. You will advise and counsel managers and associates on a variety of local and corporate HR programs, utilizing sound business discernment to make quick and consistent decisions pertaining to human capital in a dynamic, high volume and demanding work environment. You will ensure the effective delivery of the full life cycle of all HR practices to attract, retain and develop our associates.

You can look forward to:

  • Support approximately 200+ non-exempt and exempt associates across multiple locations and shifts.
  • Develop positive relationships with client group leadership to drive culture changes and associate engagement.
  • Inspiring change management behaviors and ensure associate impact activities are appropriately managed with clear, concise, and consistent communication.
  • Participate in weekly operations staff meetings when needed, providing business unit and corporate communications updates and reminders to leadership. Attends production shift meetings to engage and interact with associates.
  • Actively manages associate relations issues, investigations, process, and compliance issues to minimize risk for the business. Takes appropriate action to remediate identified issues.
  • Escalates issues appropriately. Provides management team with necessary resolution and action.
  • Leads investigations and ensures activities follow local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations as well as aligning to the Fiserv Code of Conduct, Values, and operating processes and procedures.
  • Guides and supports leadership decision-making with human capital metrics. Leverages Workday reports and HR analytics, including reporting of operational HR metrics.
  • Implements and updates annual compensation program; reviews job descriptions as necessary; conducts annual salary surveys and assists management team when developing annual compensation planning.
  • Supports front line managers in planning and forecasting their staffing pipeline requirements, especially for periods with increased volume in work.
  • Monitors career-pathing, associate relations counseling, and outplacement counseling.
  • Drives leader led ownership of associate performance. Advises managers on goal alignment, performance management and associate development.
  • Recommends, develops, and implements process improvements and policies improving the effectiveness and/or efficiency of business and HR operations.
  • Leverages HR centers of excellence for their subject matter expertise to deliver HR services and address associate inquiries appropriately.
  • Builds community-based relationships and implements other creative strategies to increase the recruiting candidate pipeline.

You’re the type of person who:

  • Has forward-thinking Human Resources Business Partner experience, including demonstrated success in HR outcomes aligned to strategic objectives.
  • Must be willing to “roll up the sleeves” and take on complex projects.
  • Expert in creating clear, concise, and sophisticated PowerPoint presentations.
  • Must have advanced skills in Excel to include Pivot Tables and V-Lookups.  Must be able to extract data and organize it for presentation to supported business leaders.
  • Ability to understand the business levels, including financials reports and metrics.
  • Skilled at critical thinking and translating concepts into actionable items, creating custom solutions, or connecting the relevancy of existing.

Basic Qualifications for Consideration:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field, required or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience in manufacturing/production environment supporting medium to large hourly, non-exempt associate workforce; proven success in effectively mitigating risk for the organization arising from associate issues.
  • Working knowledge of local, state, and federal laws governing employment issues.
