Job Summary

The Recruiter will be based in Bukit Minyak, Penang.

Hiring activities such as promotions & branding, sourcing, selection, hiring and onboarding of DLs  for Penang Campus (all sites)

Here is a glimpse of what you’ll do:

  • Prepare internal and external job advertisements, web postings, specifications for external recruitment agencies, job descriptions and other materials in accordance with the organization’s recruitment standards and business needs

  •  Screen and shortlist candidates, liaise with agencies, and coordinate interviews with hiring manager

  • Respond to enquiries from candidates, hiring managers and external recruitment agencies about the organization’s recruitment activities and about the status of job vacancies so that interested parties are kept informed without compromising the organization’s standards of privacy and confidentiality.

  • Contact candidates, arrange interview times and develop appropriate interview questions in collaboration with the hiring manager so that interviews are conducted efficiently and equitably.

  • Represent the organization at job fairs and other recruitment venues so that potential candidates have an opportunity to learn about the organization and its recruitment activities.

  • Prepare various DL hiring reports on daily, weekly & monthly reports eg. job offered & channels, reported & balance h/counts to hire, TAT hiring, etc.

  • Manage & Lead team for Promotions/Sourcing Recruiters and activities.

  • Key person in local hiring at East Malaysia

  • Key person in communication with Marcom in advert/promo for Flex branding

  • Support & Conduct Registration & Orientation for Mass New Hires eg. Workday checking, brief New Hires Company’s policies including RBA, benefits, do’s & don’ts, upload New Hires data into Workday system, distribute ESD Shoes & Smocks to New Hires, Open Personal Files for New Hires & submission to Doc Con

  • Support is schools & colleges engagements to build company’s branding and future pool for hiring

  • Ad hoc support for other DL activities, reports and/or programs

The experience we’re looking to add to the team:

  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field

  • Have prior experience in Direct Labor hiring

  • Demonstrates ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment and culture

  • Agile to changes and learn fast

  • Able to work under pressure and sensitive to datelines

  • Able to manage clear communications and collaborative in nature

  • Demonstrates working knowledge of functional concepts and understanding of Flex’s policies and procedures
