Purpose:

Floor & Decor is a leading specialty retailer of hard surface flooring, offering the broadest in-stock selection of tile, wood, stone, related tools and flooring accessories at everyday low prices. Based on our rapid company growth, the Learning & Development team has an opening for a LMS Administrator. This position will manage our Workday LMS platform and have responsibilities for delivering the quality and consistency of learning content.

Minimum Eligibility Requirements:

  • 3+ years of LMS experience (Workday Preferred)

  • Workday Certifications will be provided for the right candidate

  • Degree in a relevant field such as instructional design, business, organizational development, or Human Resources

  • Understanding of eLearning standards including SCORM, AICC, HTML5

  • Ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels of the organization and with different levels of technological understanding

  • Develop and deliver standard reports on digital learning products in Workday

  • Recommend improvements based on data findings to improve the value of online learning

Essential Job Functions:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations and maintenance of the Workday Learning Management System (LMS) by collaborating with a team of Instructional Designers and business partners.

  • Assures the efficient and effective operation of the LMS system to meet learning objectives.

  • Provide end-user troubleshooting, issue remediation, technology request assistance and escalation management. Monitors reoccurring issues, system/data or process gaps and proactively identify potential sources of increased efficiency and enhancements

  • Develop, build and maintains all elements related to LMS functionality, including but not limited to content integrations and creation, curriculum programs, LMS structure, and reporting.

  • Develop standardized LMS operational processes and procedures, guidelines and documentation and ensures LMS governance model is being followed.

  • Ensure that training content is functioning properly at all times within the various learning platforms.

  • Understands and articulates system requirements and constraints.

  • Identifies the databases and integration points for the LMS and other systems.

  • Imports and exports data using a flat file format.

  • Uploads FTP files.

  • Provides customer service and technical/functional assistance to the support desk and end users.

  • Conducts user acceptance testing of new learning technologies.

  • Key role with external LMS vendors and supportive application solutions used for LMS development.

  • Serve as a course delivery expert within the organization.

  • Assists in the development and continuous improvement of the learning department general operations.

  • Coordinate with internal experts on data management and maintenance of the Learning teams SharePoint page for learning content.

  • Additional responsibilities as directed by learning leadership to support the needs of the team.

PHYSICAL/SENSORY    REQUIREMENTS

Sedentary Work – Ability to exert 10 – 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.  Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
