Florida Atlantic University is seeking a Assistant Director of Prospect Management, Boca Raton, FL.

Summary of responsibilities include:

  • Managing processes, and assessing and analyzing portfolio management data.
  • Coordinating between teams and gift officers to ensure that donor-centric strategy is being built into and is reflected in assignments, and to facilitate smooth transitions between those handling donor relationships.
  • Overseeing the Prospect Assignment process, including evaluating prospects and making assignment recommendations.
  • Improving existing processes as well as identifying and implementing new systems to streamline workflows.
  • Ensuring Prospect Management process comprehension, compliance, and data consistency across the division.
  • Developing process guides for a variety of audiences with a variety of competencies
  • Analyzing metrics data.
  • Active involvement with professional organizations such as APRA and AASP to keep current with best practices, ethics, and fundraising industry trends.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders from across Development to ensure alignment of Prospect Management Processes within the wider context of all business rules related to use of the database and the Development team’s approach to standardized goals and metrics.

Minimum Qualifications:

Master’s degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate area of specialization and two years of appropriate experience; or a bachelor’s degree accredited institution in an appropriate area of specialization and four years of appropriate experience required.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, and Word required.

Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Strong interpersonal skills.

Ability to work in a team environment with multiple clients and stakeholders, both internal and external.

Ability to work independently and manage large projects.

Ability to synthesize large amounts of data into a clear and concise format.

Experience with Workday and Raiser’s Edge preferred.

Previous experience in non-profit environment, especially at a college or university level preferred.
