FLSmidth is recruiting a Global Workday Director to lead the HRIS strategy and execution across a global footprint of 20+ countries and 6,000+ employees. The role will be a player / coach position leading a global team of 6+ workday analysts and technical experts responsible for the overall HR technology function and owning the long-term Workday roadmap.

You’ll manage the configuration and optimization of Workday HCM, ensuring data integrity, operational efficiency, and seamless delivery of HRIS technology solutions aligned with key organizational goals.

The role will be responsible for continuous system and process improvement supporting the following workday areas: Human Capital Management, Talent Management, Workforce Management, Analytics & Reporting, Peakon Employee Voice, Recruiting, Benefits, Compensation, Advanced Compensation, Absence Management, Time Tracking and Learning.

Responsibilities
Lead Workday Technical and Functional Integration projects involving HR / Business strategy, implementation support, and Workday Resource Planning optimization.
Responsible for HR Technology operations, business processes, security, and data integrity for the Workday applications.
Assist in full life cycle workday process implementations including planning, design, & build phases
Responsible for documenting business requirements, system design and transformational goals
Manage full life cycle Workday processes
Manage teams in the identification of business requirements, functional design, process design (including scenario design, flow mapping), prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures
Lead a team of 6 analysts and technical specialists across HCM
Oversee the maintenance, configuration, security, business process etc on the Workday platform
Apply strategy and governance to Workday operations
Assist in the development and hiring of the team

Qualifications
A minimum of eight plus years of experience leading and delivering full life cycle Workday Integration, Data Conversion and Reporting implementations across Workday HCM.
Completion of at least two full implementations as a Technical Lead / Architect supporting Workday HCM.
Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate field from an accredited college/university
Experience leading large scale full life cycle Integration, Data Conversion and Reporting implementations with certification in Workday Integrations.
Detailed understanding of Workday Integration, Data Conversion and Reporting processes and best practices
Experience leading teams within HCM
Experience with program leadership, governance and change enablement
