Are you an enthusiastic and proactive HR Advisor looking for a new role? Based at our office in Pinkenba, this role will see you play a key role in supporting managers through the employee lifecycle, with a strong focus on employee & industrial relations across the APAC region. The successful candidate will have a background in HR, with an understanding of HR principles and best practice and confident with engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
Job Responsibilities
- Coaches, advises, and provides feedback to leaders related to compliance and local labour needs.
- Supports managers in investigations and disciplinary matters.
- Responds to labour complaints.
- Providing accurate and timely advice and support to management and staff across all employment aspects and escalating where appropriate.
- Work with managers to outline a hiring strategy for blue collar roles.
- Responsible for blue collar recruitment and provide training and development support.
- Involved in HR audits from labour and statutory compliances & completing periodic reporting as required.
- Training managers on new labour laws, acts and rules.
- Provide support to other HR team members from site, like employee profile management, site employee activities, etc., build good relationships between employee and company.
- Coordination of the end-to-end employee life cycle i.e. recruitment, induction, employee changes and termination processes
- Drafting employment contracts, variations, policies, procedures and HR forms
- Contributing to the development, implementation, maintenance and review of Company HR policies and procedures
- Regular data maintenance and support of our HRIS, Workday
- Maintenance of documentation and appropriate company systems
- Contribute to HR projects, programs and new HR initiatives.
What you bring
- Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent acquired knowledge and skills
- At least 3 years’ experience in similar role, with demonstrated experience in employee & industrial relations highly desired.
- Experience with Workday HRIS highly regarded.
- Team player, able to balance multiple team priorities
- Strong customer service attitude
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Demonstrated experience in building strong internal and external relationships
