Purpose

We are looking for a HR Operations Consultant who is eager to help us Provide on-going human resources support for the region covering India, South Africa and Middle East. Responds and acts on a variety of human resource transactions, partnering with Management, HR Operations team, and HR Business Partner. Your tasks will primarily be centered around supporting workday transactions for different HCM lifecycle events starting from Hire to Retire. Streamlining, simplifying and automating HR processes for the region, ensuring quality of data in the HR Systems are always high and support in building and maintaining integrations with Workday. We have exciting project revolving around process improvements which means you have a lot of opportunities to thrive in a collaborative work environment with multiple stakeholders and sometimes a tight deadline.

You will be a part of the HR Shared Service team and placed in Chennai, but your colleagues will be from all over the world. The Group HR team is headquartered in Denmark and the HRSS team is centralized in India. Key Responsibilities:

  • Process Workday transactions like Hire, Job Change, Terminations etc…

  • Support to streamline all workday business process to keep them simpler and standard at the same time to meet the regional and global business needs.

  • Work with IT colleagues to support building and rectifying all the integrations issues, including data feed to various downstream systems.

  • Ensure data quality and cleanup of all the data sets for the region

  • Participate in change requirement review and support on designing the change in Workday with Group HR functional leads and HR Ops leader

  • Involve in projects related to different functional areas and contribute to delivering the project on-time, in full

  • Work closely as a partner with the functional leads for different areas and be contributive in developing the HR practice

  • Work closely with the regional HR teams and support in creating awareness and sharing best practices

  • Support centralization of HR operational work into Workday system, with one-touch, one-system process in mind.

  • Create and maintain knowledge documents like process maps, quick guides for employees, managers, HR team etc… for all Workday processes.

  • Assist region with customization of required reports.

  • Facilitate supervisory org clean up.

What you bring

  • A relevant education & Background in human resources Operations.

  • 3 to 5 years of HR Operations experience with Workday in a global organization

Knowledge, Skill and Capabilities

  • Good oral and written communication skills and the ability to give presentations when needed

  • Strong interpersonal skills, including a commitment to customer service and HR support

  • Ability to effectively prioritize duties and efficiently complete responsibilities

  • Demonstrated commitment to confidentiality, exhibiting a high level of integrity
