Are you excited about delivering the best employee experience to our internal guests? This position may be the perfect fit for you! The People & Culture Manager in Training (MIT) supports key functions in the People & Culture Department focusing on supporting Staff Accommodation. Â

Support the general day to day running of the People & Culture officeÂ

Provide friendly, genuine, and empathetic service to our team members to ensure an engaging and positive work and housing experience Â

Support the day to day running of our robust employee housing modelÂ
-
Facilitate signing of lease agreements, new arrivals, departuresÂ
-
Support Housing Supervisors and ensure any issues are resolved in a timely mannerÂ
-
Support the Housing Manager with new housing acquisitions, inspections/visits, interpersonal issues, check in’s/out’s Â
-
Support the integration of a new housing software Â
-
General P&C administrative tasks may include tasks in recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, learning and development, and much more Â
Â
As our hotel is open 24/7, 365 days a year, the P&C Coordinator to be flexible in working weekends and holidays.Â
Â
Qualifications:Â Â
Â
-
Six months to one-year previous experience in HR or hospitality is preferredÂ
-
Can take ownership, show initiative and demonstrate a problem-solving approach Â
-
Ability to build meaningful relationships with key stakeholders, inside and outside of the organization, as well as employees Â
-
Ensure all housing policies & tenancy agreements are tracked and maintainedÂ
-
Strong communicator, both written and oral Â
-
Must be comfortable working independentlyÂ
-
Knowledge of common administrative tasks and high proficiency in Microsoft OfficeÂ
-
Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English languageÂ
-
Excellent organizational skills, high level of professionalism and integrity, while maintain confidentiality is essential.Â

Welcoming and engaging with the ability to learn and growÂ

Ability to operate computer equipment, technology, and other HR databases (Workday experience preferred)Â
-
Ability to multi-task, work autonomously, and collaborate within a fast paced environment.Â

Speaking, writing and reading English is required, French preferred.  Â

Ability to work in CanadaÂ
