Fox Television Stations is one of the nation’s largest owned-and-operated network broadcast groups, comprising 29 stations in 18 markets and covering over 37% of U.S. television homes. This includes seven duopolies in the top 10 markets: New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Dallas, San Francisco, Washington, D.C. and Houston; as well as duopolies in Minneapolis, Phoenix, Orlando and Seattle.
The position’s primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to reviewing employee timecards, processing In-House Union and Non-union weekly payrolls, preparing check requests for employee withholdings and maintaining payroll files. Also, responsibilities include ensuring paid time off accrual balances are accurate based on given policies. Additional responsibilities include analyzing wages and payroll withholdings, including garnishments, generating payroll reports and preparing pay and payroll tax reconciliations. Other duties assigned as deemed necessary and appropriate.
Candidate must possess a strong understanding of payroll procedures and payroll tax regulations. Must have experience working with multi-state payrolls and union payrolls. Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail required. Must be able to follow-through on pending items and prioritize accordingly. Additionally, must be able to communicate effectively and have ability to work well independently and as a team player. The ideal candidate will have at least 5-7 years of experience in Payroll and be able to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Strong PC skills are required, particularly working knowledge of Excel. Experience with Union payrolls and JDE Edwards or Workday Payroll is preferred.
