Job Description

Fragomen is searching for a dynamic Talent Acquisition Specialist to support early career recruitment and staffing for our New York & New Jersey region. The role is responsible for sourcing, screening, and presenting a diverse pool of candidates at the entry and early career level and assisting with recruitment for experienced and lateral hires. 

The ideal Talent Acquisition Specialist will have experience managing a high-volume applicant pool, identifying passive talent, and ensuring an amazing candidate and hiring manager experience.  This role is responsible for managing the early career talent pipelines for the region, including building relationships with colleges and universities, supporting our employee referral program, and managing relationships with our third-party staffing providers.  The ideal Talent Acquisition Specialist will have the desire to work in a fast paced, “in-house” team and be obsessed with delivering results.

How will you make a difference as a Talent Acquisition Specialist at Fragomen?

  • Work closely with Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist, Partners, Associates, and hiring managers to meet the high-volume recruiting initiatives for our New York and New Jersey Offices
  • Manage all aspects of interview process including sourcing, screening and assessment, scheduling and coordinating interviews, soliciting feedback from hiring managers, offer management and proving timely update to candidates
  • Manage relationships with contingent staffing vendors, including monitoring temporary assignment end dates and extension process
  • Work closely with Future Talent Specialist to manage and administer Summer Associate Program Recruiting for NY & NJ and ongoing assessment and team placement process
  • Maintain data input and status of recruitment activity in firm’s ATS system (Workday)
  • Initiate reference checks using our SkillSurvey reference system
  • Work with HR and Finance partners to ensure all appropriate new hire requisitions are entered in Workday in a timely manner for financial approval
  • Work closely with HR colleagues to ensure a seamless onboarding experience
  • Effectively communicate with and positively influence candidates and hiring managers
  • Act as an integral member of broader Talent Acquisition team helping to strategize and facilitate best in class recruitment practices, specifically surrounding early career recruiting, University Relations, and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion efforts (DE&I)
  • Provide ad hoc reporting and analysis to TA management and stakeholders
  • Develop and provide knowledge of recruiting market and trends

Let’s talk if you have the following qualifications and experience:

  • A minimum of 1-3 years of recruiting experience, preferably with a mix of agency and in-house, in a legal or professional service setting
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Workday Recruiting experience preferred, but not essential
  • Experience scheduling interviews using Webex Meetings and Webex Teams preferred
  • Comfort level working with LinkedIn and maintaining professional presence on social media
  • Strong organizational skills, and ability to prioritize workload
  • Must be able to handle pressure, and be comfortable working on multiple projects
  • Ability to work within a fast pace environment with changing priorities
  • Superior interpersonal and communication skills, professional demeanor and ability to interact effectively with all levels of firm
  • Sound judgment and creative problem-solving skills
