Fulton Hogan uses Workday as the system that all our people processes are administered through. We have a unique opportunity for someone to join a small, supportive team who will ensure HR processes are administered in Workday to the highest quality standards.
This role is based in our Christchurch Corporate Office within our Workday Team, supporting our Australian business. The role requires you to work Australian based office hours; approximately 10:00am – 6:30pm NZT. Perfect if you’re a late riser, need to drop the kids off, or want to kick start your day with exercise before coming in to the office!
You will be the ‘0800 Workday’ line for our Australian team, fielding Workday related questions and requests from the Australian HR Team, Managers and Payroll and administering these in the system. Requests may come via emails and phone calls so being comfortable with varied communication and being able to keep track of the different requests and responding in a timely manner is key.
This role is made for somebody who is passionate about process and people, a positive team player who provides high quality administration support and customer service. We are looking someone who is energised by fast-paced environments, focuses on providing solutions, and enjoys proactively identifying trends in customer needs.
Previous experience with Workday would be a huge advantage!
A friendly and helpful personality, as well as being a customer-service superstar and understanding the importance of maintaining discretion at all times is key to success in this role. The following skills are also required:
- The ability to pick up new systems quickly
- Methodical working style and comfortable with repetition in day to day tasks
- Problem solver, who can quickly navigate through logic to get to the source of the issue
- Confident talking on the phone
- Good communicator, with the ability to build rapport quickly
- Solid time management, attention to detail and organisation
- High level of ethics and confidentiality
- Respectful, while still knowing when and how to challenge queries that come through
- Previous HR or payroll experience is desired but not essential
