Your Role

As an HR Generalist, you will play a key role in supporting our employees and maintaining a positive, engaging workplace culture. You will be responsible for onboarding new hires, managing HR communications, organizing employee events, and contributing to various HR functions that enhance the overall employee experience.

What You Will Do

Onboarding:

  • Orientation: Facilitate new employee orientations, ensuring that employees are introduced to company culture, policies, and procedures.
  • Documentation: Assist new hires with completing required paperwork, including forms, insurance forms, and enrollment benefits.
  • Training: Collaborate with departments to identify training needs for new employees and assist in the development and delivery of onboarding training programs.
  • Mentoring: Provide guidance and support to new hires during their initial weeks to help them acclimate to the organization.

HR Generalist Duties:

  • Employee Relations: Respond to general human resource-related inquiries and provide personnel policy and procedure guidance to employees and management.
  • Policy Enforcement: Ensure that company policies and procedures are consistently applied and followed.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personnel files and HR databases.
  • Compliance: Stay current with employment laws and regulations and ensure that the organization is in compliance.
  • HR Communications: Develop and distribute internal HR communications, including newsletters, announcements, and policy updates to keep employees informed and engaged.
  • Employee Engagement: Plan and coordinate employee events such as birthdays, celebrations, and other culture-building activities.
  • HR Projects: Participate in various HR projects and initiatives to improve HR processes and enhance employee experience.

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in human resources or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience as an HR Generalist or related experience.
  • Fully bilingual (English/Spanish).
  • Experience in HR Operations, Center of Excellence, or HR Shared Services, and policies/procedures 
  • Workday experience is strongly preferred. 
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
  • Self-directed, detail-oriented problem solver with ability to produce timely, high-quality deliverables.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and client service skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrable strategic thinking, influencing, and decision-making skills.
  • Advanced in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
