Your Role: Head of People Operations & DataÂ

As a Head of People Operations & Data at Global, you will lead and develop the people operations function through people systems, data-driven decisions, enhancing people processes and drive automation to support Global’s growth.
Key Responsibilities
- People Processes (40%): Own and develop all people processes with our systems as a key driver (main system Workday). Enhance user experience and streamline processes, collaborating across teams to ensure data accuracy, efficient design and decision-making while partnering with the Workday HCM Tech lead.
- Data driven (20%): Develop and lead the people data approach for People & Culture which brings data accuracy, security, and accessibility. Generate data & insights with clear workforce metrics, supports data-driven decisions, and manage reporting and dashboards for real-time visibility across People & Culture.
- People Lifecycle management (15%): Lead the full employee journey—from onboarding to offboarding—for a smooth, positive experience. Enhance key processes like onboarding, promotions, family leave for example, while bringing in automation and self-service with our people systems.
- Benefits & Compensation (15%): Shape and improve our benefits to keep them competitive and engaging for Globallers. Work with benefit broker and providers to manage range of benefits from pension, health and flex benefits to ensure schemes are well managed and compliant.Â
- Policies & Compliance (10%): Shape and oversee clear, up-to-date people policies that align with legal requirements and our culture. Ensure compliance and regular reviews across HR practices to reduce legal risks while complying with laws and best practices.

What Success Looks Like
In your first few months, you’ll have:
- Established a solid leadership presence within the People Operations team, gaining a clear understanding of each key role
- Built strong working relationships with internal teams
- Gained insight into our company culture and the impact of People & Culture
- Led and completed a few projects, demonstrating your project management skills.
- Assessed our current people systems and outlined a roadmap for future enhancements
- Improve the data approach for People & Culture to drive insights, enable informed decisions, and establish clear, actionable people metrics
What You’ll Need
- Process Optimisation:Â Skilled in designing and refining end-to-end employee lifecycle processes to ensure a smooth, engaging experience at every stage.
- People System Acumen:Â Strong understanding of people technology, ideally Workday. Able to analyse system performance to ensure seamless operations, improve user experience, greater automation and drive continuous enhancements.
- People Benefits Expertise:Â Solid understanding of benefits management, including designs, broker and supplier management.
- Design thinking:Â Ability to see the big picture by driving ongoing improvements in people initiatives that meets Global goals and anticipating future people needs.
- Analytical Mindset:Â Skilled at leveraging data and metrics to inform decisions, identify trends, and drive improvements, translating complex data into actionable insights
- Project Management Skills: Experience managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Coaching and Development:Â Nurturing talent by empowering and guiding individuals to unlock their potentialÂ
- Building Trust: Creating and maintaining an inclusive environment where diverse views and experiences are welcomed and celebrated in your teamÂ
