The Lead HRIS Analyst, Integrations will be responsible for supporting the design, development, implementation and maintenance of Workday functionality, reporting and integrations, in collaboration with project teams. This role will identify how to leverage HR systems, advanced reporting, dashboards and integration functionality more effectively, and will recommend and drive process improvements and innovative solutions in support of overall business strategy. The Lead HRIS Analyst, Integrations will report into the Director, HRIS.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Act as the Workday technical subject matter expert, provide HR system administration and support, and lead Workday HR system integration configuration, enhancements, and deployment efforts.
- Architect integrations, reporting and dashboard solutions using Workday tools like Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Core Connectors, and Workday Studio, defining data mappings and workflows.
- Establish guidelines and priorities through partnership with other business and IT areas to determine business process improvements across wide range of processes, systems and business areas.
- Collaborate with HRIS peers on projects and initiatives with IT, Finance, HR managers, HR vendors, Benefits vendors and other subject matter experts to ensure the services and solutions provided meet the needs of our customers.
- Build and configure Workday integrations and advanced reports, including data transformations, validation rules, and error handling mechanisms.
- Manage the deployment process of integrations and reports to production environments, providing ongoing maintenance and troubleshooting support.
- Formulate and define systems integration scope and objectives based on both user needs and a thorough understanding of business systems and industry requirements.
- Responsible for completing HRIS related activities including but not limited to; system integration, configuration, data conversion, reporting, functional specifications, program and system quality testing, go-live and post go-live implementation support.
- Reviews, analyzes & evaluates complex HRIS business systems, processes, data, and user needs.
- Maintain awareness of current trends in HR technology within the integration and reporting landscape.
- Manage and/or lead testing efforts ensuring that comprehensive test plans and test cases are developed.
- Think beyond the current project and envision how the solution being developed could be leveraged for future endeavors, considering the business implications of the application technology.
Who You Are:
- Proficiency in Workday integration and reporting tools – EIB, Core Connections, Workday Studio, Web Services, BIRT, Workday Docs and Calculated Fields.
- Experience with data mapping, data transformation, and data quality techniques.
- Deep understanding of Workday functionalities –including core modules like employee data, payroll, benefits, time tracking, and recruiting.
- Strong technical skills in XML, JSON, APIs, and database concepts.
- Experience with system integration methodologies and best practices.
- Excellent analytical skills with a demonstrated understanding of the concepts and issues unique to the management of HR data.
- Proficient in MS Office; Word, Excel and Power Point and Access.
- 6+ years of HRMS experience; Workday experience with proficient knowledge of Human Resources system processes, and integration schema.
- bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
- Provide excellent customer service to system users and promote team collaboration.
- Ability to mentor and provide guidance to team members, as well as handling multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Ability to identify issues, compare data, investigate and resolve discrepancies.
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail and ability to communicate with non-technical and technical personnel.
