Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Reward Manager, the successful candidate will support with the effective delivery of our benefits offering and reward strategies, ensuring that our people are remunerated fairly and in line with business budgets and market.
Benefits:
- Benefits Platform: Owns relationship with provider, responsible for annual renewals and benefits reporting. Identifies and implements new opportunities to add benefits. Ownership of the annual benefits window process.
- Account Management: Of broker and benefits providers including the annual renewals and of provision of data to providers as required.
- Benefits Offering: Day-to-day management of the benefits offering including: Biennial health screenings, Electric Car Scheme, Subsidised Gym offering (currently Wellhub), Cycle Scheme and other relevant benefits. Review of benefits offering to ensure it remains both attractive to employees and fit for purpose. Escalation point for employee issues.
- Private Medical Insurance:Â Account and relationship management with provider. Â Ownership of premium renewal (via broker), data provision to provider as required, invoice management and communications to employees as required.
- Employee Recognition Platform: Account and relationship management with platform provider to ensure that the platform runs efficiently and effectively and is valued by employees. Production of relevant reporting as and when required.
- Employee Assistance Programme: Ownership of the EAP relationship, to include monitoring of usage and promotion of programme to employees.
- Give as You Earn: Ownership and management of the CAF relationship and first point of contact for all GAYE queries.
- Benefits Reporting: Production of benefits reports as and when required. Responsibility for ensuring all benefits data is accurate and updated in relevant systems including our benefits platform and our HRIS (Workday). Conducting relevant data analysis to identify trends and inform decisions relating to the benefits offering.
Reward:
Although the primary focus of this role will be on the effective management of Grosvenor’s benefits offering, the successful candidate will also support the Reward Manager with some reward activity and projects including (but not limited to):
- Annual Events: Assist the Reward Manager with mid-year and annual performance rating processes, including the drafting of calibration packs. Assist with the annual salary review processes.
- Benchmarking & Salary Surveys – Supporting with Annual Salary Surveys and ad hoc benchmarking support
- P11d Processing: Supporting the Reward Manager with the annual P11d process
- Payroll Management: General monthly payroll support including preparation of the monthly payroll checking files. Work with external payroll support partner to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
- Reward and Benefits Projects: Support with reward and benefits projects as appropriate to increase efficiency and effectiveness of reward, benefits and payroll processes.
Key Requirements
This role would suit candidates with previous benefits management experience who are looking to develop their expertise in this area.Â
Key requirements are:Â
- Previous experience of effectively managing external benefits providers/suppliers
- Has experience of benchmarking – both job matching and data provision as well as analysis of the results back to the businessÂ
- Has experience of developing and managing benefits policies and procedures
- Knowledge of tools and systems to produce sophisticated analysisÂ
- Highly numerate, analytical and, financially minded, able to carry out modelling and analysis across a range of topics
- Good communication skills – able to communicate key messages in a clear, concise and compelling way
- Knowledge of Workday would be a plusÂ
- Payroll and tax reporting knowledge would be desirableÂ
- Relevant professional qualification preferred, but not essential depending on experience.Â
