Payroll SME/Specialist

The main purpose of the role is to provide accurate and timely support for EMEA outsourced payroll process. You will be a part of an international team, each professional of which is responsible for 3 markets on average within EMEA region (i.e., such markets as Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, UK, Czech Republic, Greece, Hungary, Israel, Kenya, Portugal, Slovakia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Russia, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman, Bahrain, Poland).

In this role you will…

  • Handle an end-to-end processing of monthly and yearly payroll processes for EMEA countries;

  • Update and maintain payroll records (Joiners/Leavers/Changes) and payroll master data;

  • Process payroll monthly and yearly reporting (with Tax Office, Pension Fund), providing input for Finance teams;

  • Process payroll related allowances and deductions, delivering yearly bonus and merit cycle;

  • Deal with financial controls, incl. SOX and operational controls maintained at a local country level;

  • Handle all operational aspects in terms of vendors management in outsourced payroll environment (tracking KPI’s/issue escalation/monthly SLA meetings);

  • Implement continues improvements within functional area of payroll process;

  • Process all variable wage components like hours, bonuses, provision, capture of holidays, etc.;

  • Import/export payroll interface files, be a point of escalations for pay related employee related queries

Why you?

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Min. 2-3 years of demonstrated payroll processing experience (preferably in outsourced company);

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree;

  • Very good command of English (any European or APAC region language would be an asset);

  • Knowledge of Workday/Cloud Pay, any payroll system, SAP would be beneficial;

  • Knowledge of payroll legislations and processes, understanding of international assignees employee payroll

Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills, attention to details, numerical ability and data entry skills;

  • Ability to work autonomously and within respect of deadlines;

  • Experience on payroll vendor changes projects;

  • Customer service- and team-oriented approach and good organizational skills
