This is an entry-level position that offers an excellent opportunity to gain experience in compensation management and analysis.
The Role:
The Compensation Analyst is a detailed oriented and data driven professional responsible for supporting the development and administration of our compensation programs. This role is responsible for maintaining job descriptions, analyzing internal and external salary data, managing survey participation, and assisting with various compensation-related projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytic and technical skills. Discretion with sensitive information, and a high level of integrity are essential.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
- Participate in salary surveys and maintain the survey database.
- Analyze compensation data and prepare reports to support compensation decisions.
- Assist in the administration of compensation programs including salary structures, incentive pay and annual merit and market adjustments.
- Provide guidance and support to HR and management on compensation-related questions and processes.
Education and/or Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field required.
Skills and Qualifications:
- One year Compensation or Human Resources experience preferred; Entry-level candidates with relevant education or internships in HR or business will be considered
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (pivot tables, x-lookup, v-lookup, formulas, etc.).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to manipulate and interpret large data sets using Excel or other tools.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity.
- High attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; team-oriented with a collaborative spirit.
- Experience with Workday or other HRIS systems preferred but not required.
- Ability to work independently and deliver to deadlines
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment working on multiple tasks simultaneously, while adhering to strict deadlines
