What we do:
As a recognized leader in providing Private Markets Solutions to clients across the globe we manage approximately $124.6 billion in discretionary assets and have oversight of an additional $796.2 in non-discretionary assets as of March 31, 2024.
The Opportunity:
You will play a critical role in overseeing the international accounting operations of the firm, including but not limited to review, approval, and analysis of internal accounting and reporting, oversee the timely submission of compliance filings, handle the coordination of international subsidiary audits, as well as establishing and enforcing policies and internal controls. Â
Your responsibilities will be to:
- Lead the month-end close process for our foreign subsidiaries, including review of monthly journal entries, accruals, prepaids, and expense analysis
- Lead and mentor a team, providing guidance, training, and performance management
- Review various reconciliations and filings to ensure accuracy
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency of international accounting operations
- Ensure all documentation is maintained for internal control purposes
- Assist in the preparation and review of financial deliverablesÂ
- Engage with service providers to maintain quality and timeliness of deliverables and problem resolution
- Validate results and perform control checks to ensure accurate results from service providers
- Lead the monthly submission of local regulatory and compliance reports for our foreign subsidiaries
- Coordinate the external audits for our foreign subsidiaries and liaison with external auditors
- Interface with internal and external parties on assessing the impact of accounting and regulatory guidance
- Extensive knowledge and experience with US GAAP, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, intercompany accounting and consolidation, and internal control development and documentation
- Additional projects and duties as needed.

Your background and skills will include:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting  Â
- CPA certification preferred  Â
- 6+ years of accounting and financial reporting experience
- Combination of public accounting firm and industry experience preferred, including experience at a publicly traded company
- Supervisory experience required
- Familiarity with international compliance filings a plus
- Experience in multi-currency accounting
- Exposure to international accounting
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Experience with Workday Financials a plus
- Deadline-driven, highly motivated, and detail-oriented
- Ability to take initiative, multi-task and prioritize
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and take initiative in resolving problems and making recommendations
- Strong organizational skills. Ability to organize complex projects, manage multiple tasks, and meet established deadlines
