Change & Governance Advisor – HRIS

Here at Howden Group Holdings, we are transforming the way we deliver HR services to our business and this is an exciting time to join our evolving HR function as we look to drive commercially aligned and strategic HR support to our stakeholders.

Reporting to the HR Change Manager, this role will focus on looking ahead at system enhancements that will benefit the global configuration and supports the development of developing best practice across the systems landscape in HR, bringing in external knowledge and experience to ensure Howden stays at the fore of technology and governance.

The successful incumbent will bring with them the prior experience of change and governance frameworks and will have experience of working in fast-paced, highly commercial and entrepreneurial environments. Additionally, you will have experience of delivering beyond the day to day and working with the HR Leaders and other Centres of Expertise to deliver wider HR strategic initiatives and priorities.

Key Accountabilities

· Project manage the delivery of Howden’s internal Workday global functionality refresh that happens bi-annually

· Manage the Workday bi-annual release, impact assess changes and project manage the delivery of the release

· Create and lead on the roadmap for the outcomes of the Workday tenant review

· Implement and be accountable for the running Change Advisory Board (CAB) within HR

· Support the continuing development, implementation and improvement of governance processes and framework to support compliance to Group Policies and Standards.

· Partner with HRIS and IT to develop the integration architecture; document and communicate to relevant stakeholders

· Develop a value realisation strategy to be able to present back to the business the value/impact analysis of Workday

· Manage the Workday bi-annual release, impact assess changes and project manage the delivery of the release

· Managing the internal HRIS roadmap, working with stakeholders to ensure business activities and projects are planned and resource has been allocated

· Regularly review Workday’s product roadmap to assess future functionality which will enhance Howden’s current setup

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

· Demonstrable record of success in driving an effort from strategy to delivery, facilitating decision making, making data-driven decisions, and managing vendor relationships

· Strong written, verbal, presentation and interpersonal skills

· A background in change management consulting in a large technology transformation program; experience with Workday implementation a plus

· Experience of creating key project documentation.

· Experience of project scheduling, risk management, budget management, and tracking the realization of benefits.

· Accuracy and attention to detail under a busy workload.

· Self-motivated and proactive, with an ability to work independently where required.

· Enthusiastic and committed to learn, with a passion for project management.

· Excellent organisational and time management skills.

· Fluency in Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint and Word
