The Digital Learning Specialist will shape and implement our approach to digital learning at Howden. This will mean having the ability to strategically influence and drive the design and development of the digital learning experience and become a core member of our Talent and Development team.
You will be responsible for the sourcing, implementation and management of key digital platforms and infrastructure, as well as advising on, designing and creating high quality digital learning experiences via multiple means e.g. e-learning, videography, animation, virtual classroom, infographics, community platforms, LMS.
Overall responsibility for the digital learning experience at Howden, including:
Review current digital learning platforms and content in line with broader talent, leadership and learning strategy and develop a comprehensive digital learning approach to complement the wider people agenda
Manage the implementation of LinkedIn Learning across the group, working with key stakeholders to resource regional rollouts, develop a community of champions and maximise learner engagement
Be the LinkedIn Learning platform owner, responsible for continued learner engagement, maximising the platform to its full potential, developing reporting and advising on content curation for key stakeholder groups
Act as product owner for our LMS, Workday Learning, reviewing how it meets our digital learning needs, engages learners and work with our HRIS team to improve effectiveness
Use learning data gathered through all digital platforms to provide insights to the wider Talent and Development team, HRBPs and the business as required to move our agenda forward
Lead, design and develop impactful and engaging solutions to realise the digital learning vision, working with external providers and designing content in-house as required
Collaborating with internal stakeholders to translate business needs into learning and development solutions that align with the central Talent & Development agenda
Continuously explore the market, identifying digital learning trends to propose future opportunities and learning solutions that support our business growth
Person specification / experience
An experienced learning professional with proven experience of connecting digital learning to the broader learning strategy
Experience of designing learning content and supporting communication materials on various platforms and authoring tools that is centred around the learner
Knowledge of LinkedIn Learning and Workday desirable
Excellent stakeholder management skills – keeping the relevant individuals informed and engaged when delivering projects
Ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities
Experience of working on global projects within matrixed organisations, understanding the need to collaborate across functions and not work in isolation
Experienced project manager, able to bring multiple parties together to achieve a common goal
