The Early Career Recruiter will support the recruiting workstream of Hub’s early career programs across the HUB footprint.  You will be a key member of the talent acquisition center of excellence and the early career team that includes HUB executives, HR partners, and subject matter experts working across the business to build a best-in-class program that will introduce entry level talent to the essential skills and knowledge needed for a career in the insurance brokerage industry.  The ideal candidate will be organized and an effective communicator, who is detail-oriented, and has excellent recruiting abilities. You must have experience managing multiple priorities and driving them to successful completion, with an ability for operating effectively in ambiguity. This is a visible role, requiring a recruiter who is highly collaborative and has a track-record of influencing without authority. Strong self-awareness, ability to collaborate with others, and a passion for development is important for success in this role.


  • Work with local offices across the United States and Canada to be the point of contact for the recruitment of talent for Hub’s early career programs.
  • Partner with universities, diversity associations, professional associations, and talent platforms to attract, interview and hire top talent. This includes college, university, and technical program students and post graduate candidates with up to 2 years of experience.
  • Work with hiring teams to understand the candidate profiles and ensure recruitment efforts are focused on hiring talent that meets the needs of the program.
  • Cultivate relationships with recruiting agencies and serve as the point of contact for candidates submitted by agency partners.
  • Foster an environment of positive candidate experience from first touchpoint to hiring.
  • Collaborate with the Hub International talent brand team to ensure branding is in alignment with recruitment efforts.
  • Partner on the delivery and program experience of the functional development programs by working with the program manager and respective business sponsors.


  • 2 + years of relevant experience in sourcing and recruiting early career talent or experience in a similar/equivalent position 
  • Experience in the coordination of hiring projects, where there are multiple positions to fill in one or several locations. Experience with high volume recruiting is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills are key for this role, as this role frequently interacts with varying levels of business leaders and HR colleagues and will lead regular recruiting status meetings with hiring teams across the US and Canada
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems. Specific experience with Workday, Indeed, and Handshake preferred
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail 
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
