Serves as a liaison between the Humana Government Business segment and Human Resources to ensure compliance with the unique requirements of our Government contracts. Develops and maintains positive relationships with Humana Government Business directors/managers/key associates in the development of comprehensive staffing models and labor cost proposals. Participates in audits by Government agencies. Manages the maintenance of the HGB Position Tracking System. Manages HGB’s relationship with our contingent labor vendor. Assists with special projects assigned to the team.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Serve as a liaison between HGB and Human Resources to ensure compliance with the unique requirements of our government contracts. Provide timely responses to requests for information from the HR Business Partners. Provide guidance to Payroll on Service Contract Act requirements. Ensure vacant positions are posted in Workday in a timely manner.

Work closely with HGB pricing team on the development of these models. Read and understand RFP requirements

Manage the maintenance of the HGB Position Tracking System with accurate and timely updates to information on staffing levels and authorized positions. Produce the monthly report in a timely manner. Support HGB by developing and issuing other routine and ad hoc reports from the Position Tracking System, Workday payroll system, and other sources.

Develop/maintain a positive relationship with HGB’s contingent labor vendor. Consult with leaders on their temporary staffing needs and provide guidance on most effective use of contingent labor. Coordinate the screening and onboarding of temporary workers, verifying required training, ensuring they have required access, confirming approval of timecards, and processing accurate invoices. Participate with Corporate Procurement in the development of contract terms and conditions and evaluate potential vendors that meet our Government contracting requirements for small business spend.

Required Qualifications

Our Department of Defense Contract requires U.S. citizenship for this position.

Successfully receive interim approval for government security clearance (NBIS – National Background Investigation Services)

HGB is not authorized to do work in Puerto Rico per our government contract. We are not able to hire candidates that are currently living in Puerto Rico.

Bachelor's degree
-
3 years of experience in Human Resources dealing with compensation and confidential data

Experienced with Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, formulas and graphs

Ability to work 8 – 5 p.m. in the Eastern Time zone

Work at Home Requirements
To ensure Hybrid Office/Home associates’ ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Hybrid Office/Home associates must meet the following criteria:

At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is recommended; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested

Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if approved by leadership

Associates who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense.

Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.

Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information
Travel: While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana’s offices for training or meetings may be required.

Pay Range
The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
$59,300 – $80,900 per year
This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
