As a generalist human resources technician, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for:
Â
Employee and partner approach management (85%)
• Analyzing, validating, and responding to various employee or manager requests related to the human resources department primary for US, partially for Canadian employees (phone, email).
• Providing personalized support to our employees, retirees, and other partners in administrative procedures related to life events.
• Conduct new hire orientation and company onboarding
• Perform work in compliance with regulations and policy
• Communicating with various stakeholders in the organization.
• Simplifying explanations about the company's payroll, compensation, and benefits.
• Managing dissatisfaction, actively seeking solutions while respecting and referring to work policies.
• Maintains a high degree of professionalism – can interface with all levels of the organization as a primary point of contact for team

Participating in improvement and innovation (10%)
• Supporting different teams and HR policies.
• Being willing to question oneself to influence the quality of one's work and contribution to the team.
• Identifying the necessary updates to documentation based on process changes.
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of recurring processes through suggestions and ideas for innovation.
• Showing curiosity to use artificial intelligence to bring operational efficiency gains.

Maintenance of reference tools (5%)
• Updating our tools based on recurring changes (email templates, knowledge base).

You have:
• A high level of professionalism and autonomy.
• A passion for the employee experience.
• 2- 3 years’ work experience in Human Resources with a strong focus on excellent customer service strongly preferred
• Comfort working and navigating with multiple technological tools.
• Attention to quality and initiative.
• Commitment to confidentiality.
• Associates degree from an accredited university or college required.
• SHRM accreditation
• Knowledge of the Workday software (an asset).
• High level of French both spoken and written.
• Experience with both Canadian and US compagnies (an asset).
