IDEXX is looking for an experienced People Operations Specialist to support our people operations in Europe. You will be part of the HR Operational Excellence team responsible for the administrative processes of the employee lifecycle of our employees in EMEA.  Your focus will be on operations, processes, administrative tasks, and communication with your stakeholders and customers.

In this Role

As a People Operations Specialist, you will work closely with other teams to execute HR processes and services. You will be the first point of contact for our employees, and you will be supporting many of our new hires with their journey within IDEXX.

What you will need to Succeed

  • You bring a skillset of strong customer service, detail orientation, communication skills, and a good understanding of HR processes and systems.

  • You constantly strive for quality and efficiency while adding value to the service we deliver to our employees/customers.

  • You are driven to improve the employee experience by providing excellent day-to-day HR operational support.

  • In this role, you will process and administer all the employee changes, prepare related documentation, and provide the Payroll team with all relevant information to perform the monthly payroll calculations for your assigned region. You like data and you are comfortable with Excel.

  • You should have a high technical affinity and the ability to work with HR Systems, like Workday and Service Now.

We would love to hear from you if:

  • You have a minimum of 5 years of experience working in an international HR environment

  • You preferably have knowledge of labor legislation and employment agreements in the Nordics (Denmark, Finland, Norway or Sweden)

  • You have clear and demonstrable experience with Workday

  • You have proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and MS Teams

  • You have experience with a case management system

  • You are fluent in English and another European language

  • Speaking one of the Nordic languages is a plus

  • You have a high level of accuracy and the ability to work effectively and independently 

  • You are a team player with great communication skills and attention to detail

  • You can deal with changing priorities and challenges

  • You have emotional intelligence, humility, willingness to learn, and take and receive feedback constructively

  • You have high ethical standards and a positive attitude
