Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage full recruitment cycle for assigned requisitions including initial intake meeting with hiring manager, sourcing candidates, applicant testing, telephone screening, interviewing, and employment offer coordination.
- Champion Talent Acquisition initiatives to broaden a diverse candidate pipeline, for high volume and difficult-to-fill manufacturing facility roles in Canada.
- Proactive recruiting – utilizing innovative recruitment tools to proactively connect with potential candidates.
- Create offer packages and ensure the testing and background check requirements are completed for every selected candidate
- Leverage and influence talent acquisition performance metrics to set and achieve goals, hold self and hiring managers accountable, improve effectiveness, and drive the HR strategic plan.
- Demonstrate ability to influence and advise senior level hiring managers on all matters related to talent acquisition.
- Review hiring strategies and develop new concepts for review. Support the delivery of programs and services to promote talent acquisition and retention strategies, branding strategies and best practices.
- Provide Talent Acquisition advisory and support to HR Business Partners as required.
- Represent IKO at all times in a professional manner and ensure a positive candidate experience regardless of hiring decision outcomes
- Participate and support other HR/TA and Talent initiatives as required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition, preferably within a durable goods manufacturing industry environment.
- You have post-secondary education in a related field, such as Business or Human Resources.
- Demonstrated experience with high volume recruitment.
- Superior business partnering and communication skills, with exceptional customer service orientation.
- Proven ability to multitask and manage competing priorities – strong time management and organizational skills.
- Experience working with multiple sourcing strategies, including social media, LinkedIn, Indeed, etc.
- Knowledge of Workday HCM preferred.
- Ability to represent IKO at all times in a professional manner and ensure a positive candidate experience regardless of hiring decision outcomes.
