Location: Richmond, VA 

The Sr. Service Center Specialist maintains accuracy and integrity of field personnel and family data in Workday. In conjunction with field payroll, processes and verifies bi-weekly field payroll data changes. Coordinates all necessary clearances for field personnel and notifies personnel of the final approval for them to return to the field.  Maintains the official, confidential, paper and electronic personnel files for all field personnel.

Responsibilities:

  • Leads in identifying problems and finding solutions
  • Assists with employment verification requests
  • Participates in Workday trainings and testing for continuous improvement
  • Assists manager with training teammates with new or updated policies and procedures
  • Creatively brainstorms, researches and develops improvements to team processes
  • Available to the team as a resource for answers and guidance through procedure implementation

Requirements:

  • Associates degree is preferred
  • At least three years of customer service experience
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced proficiency with MS Office suite, especially MS EXCEL and MS OUTLOOK 
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of personnel data and information
  • Strong organization skills and time-management abilities
  • Previous Workday experience is a plus
