Our Chicago HR team is searching for a Workday Specialist to join the team and play a key role in supporting the future growth of IMC. Working closely with key HR and recruitment stakeholders, along with the global Workday team based out of Amsterdam, you will be responsible for ensuring Workday is optimally configured to support our HR, payroll, and recruitment processes.
Using your in-depth knowledge of Workday business processes and know-how of key modules such as HCM, Compensation, Payroll, Benefits, and Recruitment, you will ensure we are making the most of available system functionality and making processes as efficient as possible.
IMC has long been a full-suite user of Workday to support our HR, Recruitment, and Finance processes. This role will give you the opportunity to learn from the best Workday minds out there, learn about new Workday modules, be involved with Workday design groups and fast follower programs, and shape the HR systems for the future.
What you will do:
- Working closely with the Amsterdam-based global team, you will co-own the HRIS Workday suite of tools used within IMC.
- You will configure Workday HCM, Compensation, Payroll, and Recruitment processes to meet the needs of our teams
- You will look to make Workday processes as efficient and automated as possible
- You will review the available and new functionality of Workday to check we are making the best use of all functionality
- You will configure Workday to allow it to optimally support the future growth of IMC and our HR teams.
Qualifications:
- In-depth 4+ years’ experience supporting and configuring the Workday HCM module
- Experience configuring Workday Compensation, Payroll, and Benefits
- In-depth knowledge of the Workday business process framework and security model
- Experience working with key users of systems and developing new processes based on requirements
- The appetite for learning about HR technology innovations and systems
- Self-starter with strong analytical and communication skills
