Job Overview – What you’ll do!
The Change Control Process Manager’s purpose is to drive the end-to-end change control management for GHR and serve as the single point of contact for requesters from different ING locations. The Change Control Process Manager will oversee the flow of change requests from initiation, triage and assessment, until implementation – coordinating with HR COEs, Local HR, CPS, GPL’s, Functional Workday SME’s, HR Tech SMEs and IT Application Management System Team.
The role will entail the following activities:
- Manage the overall Change Control Process of Global HR systems, Global/Local processes, data, services, interfaces, etc.
- Review for completeness of all changes prior to passing to Change Reviewers/Approvers
- Cross check and balance of change documentation submitted by the requestor
- Identification and mitigation of risk by completing change request forms for each change
- Coordination of all changes across all teams and internally managed platforms
- Ensures all change requests are performed in a controlled manner and are compliant with the ING change management control process
- Gather and analyze data on all changes including any incidents arising from change and preventative measures taken to prevent recurrence and whether the change was successful or was cancelled Preparing the statistics for the monthly GPS Dashboard
- Review proposed changes with the requestor and obtain necessary documentations and pre-approval as needed
- Analyze quick fixes/legal requirements changes (e.g. calendar/scheduled events) and sends them straight to the backlog for execution
- Identify and highlight opportunities for continuous process improvement
- Provide an audit trail for all changes and authorization obtained for changes that are scheduled during change restriction periods
- Prepare list of change requests to be presented and reviewed to the weekly Change Control Tollgate meeting for CCB Approval
- Coordination and communication of Tollgate results
- Prepare dashboard and adhoc reports
How to be successful:
You are an established IT change manager with proven expertise in managing the change control process for HR systems. You will ideally have experience of ensuring efficient implementation of system changes with minimal disruption to day to day operations.
You are results-oriented, have strong influencing and engaging skills, and are comfortable working with and influencing senior stakeholders on a global and local level.
- Professional with 3 years+ of relevant experience with strong focus on IT change management and implementation
- Experience in Project Management in a fast-paced multinational company (preferably in Human Resources)
- Excellent spoken and written English language
- Technical Skills including but not limited to Workday, ServiceNow, SharePoint
- Coordination and planning skills – thinking one step ahead
