Human Resources People Specialist
Job Summary:
The Human Resources People Specialist will support HR leadership in executing the daily delivery of HR services and assist in building and optimizing talent by partnering with the HR team, HR Manager and Managers of people.
Accountabilities & Responsibilities
- Adheres to Integer Core Value and all safety, environmental, security, and quality requirements including, but not limited to: Quality Management Systems (QMS), Safety, Environmental and Security Management Systems, U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, company policies and operating procedures, and other regulatory requirements.
- Performs as the first union liaison and every activity related: analyzes conflictive situations and provides a solution, keeps a track record of Union activities, performs presentations, and analyzes data to make decisions, among others.
- Responsible for engagement activities on the Montevideo site. Â
- Partners with business operations leaders to ensure an understanding of business needs and objectives.
- Responsible for providing HR guidance to managers in areas including but not limited to; talent management, succession planning, total rewards, policy interpretation, associate data integrity, communication effectiveness, associate engagement, and leadership best practices.
- Utilizes HR systems to generate reports and perform analysis to identify trends in performance, turnover, compensation, etc.
- Participates in enterprise-wide HR Project teams to implement process improvements that drive HR’s strategic vision.
- Promotes associate contribution and commitment through facilitation of focus groups, surveys, round tables, town halls and other forums to assess and deploy culture initiatives.
- Promotes an issue-free work environment that adherence to Integer values.
- Acts as the first point of contact for associate concerns, complaints and/or workplace conflicts. Ensures concerns are addressed and resolved timely and fairly.
- Ensures compliance with all local/state/country labor laws and regulations.
- Engages in HR projects as needed.
- Performs other duties as required.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or related discipline.
- 3+ years of similar experience.
- Extensive union and project management experience is required.
- Experience with Workday system is preferred.
- Demonstrated advanced English level, oral and written.

- Successful track record in building and maintaining strong relationships at all levels of the organization.
 Specialized Knowledge:
- Solid knowledge of country labor and employment laws. Human Resources/Labor Relations Certification preferred.
