Title:
Payroll Manager
KBR, Government Solutions Shared Services is seeking a Payroll Manager to lead a dispersed team responsible for payroll processing and administration for approximately 15k employees worldwide.
Job Function:
Leadership of payroll processing and administration for a highly diversified $5B Government Services business. Responsible for the management & administration of company Payroll shared services, while ensuring compliance, accuracy and timeliness of all Payroll activities within a Costpoint/Workday payroll environment. Manages time bound processes and ensures verification and reconciliation of payroll data to be accurate and truthful. Ensures compliance with all internal and external/statutory requirements. Participates in the development of functional strategy and may be responsible for global processes and procedures.
Position reports to the Senior Manager of GS US Payroll and is in Huntsville, AL (candidates located in Houston or the Washington metro area may be considered, with the expectation of frequent travel to Huntsville).Â
Required Skills:Â Â
- A proven payroll manager who has demonstrated ability to motivate and lead a team with performance supporting a large public company
- Government contract accounting
- A technology competent leader with knowledge of Costpoint or similar ERP systems
- Workday HR/Payroll
- General Ledger expertise
- SOX Compliance
- Experience managing a dispersed team
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 6+ years of experience, 2+ of which should be in management.
Desired Skills:
- International Payroll Experience
- CPP certification
