The HRIS Integrations/Reporting Developer is a global position that will focus on supporting KEI’s HRIS (Workday) Integrations, Reporting, and Security. The goal is to support, grow, and continuously improve our HR System and its connectivity for the organization.

The HRIS Integrations/Reporting Developer is an existing role within our HRIS (Workday) team at Kimball Electronics, Inc. (KEI) Shared Services and reports to our Director, Human Resources Information Systems. This position is able to be remote, hybrid or onsite.

Key Performance Objectives:

Short Term: (0 to 3 months)

• Learn KEI Culture, people, and processes

• Understand business, legal and regulatory requirements of all KEI’s facilities

• Build relationships with each facility HR user community

• Learn KEI Workday system landscape including HCM, security, integrations, reports and business processes

• Maintain system documentation in support of various business requirements and changes

• HRIS Support (Workday)

• Understand existing integrations from Workday to SAP, TRESS, Benefits Carriers, etc.

• Understand integration requirements from Workday to international global payroll systems

• Develop Workday reports to support integration needs

• Understand system security (Role-Based/User-Based)

Midterm: (3 to 6 months)

• Provide support of Workday security processing and administration

• Support reporting and integrations development

• Assist with preparation, testing and configuration for enhancements related to upgrades

• Develop custom reports and dashboards to meet location and enterprise business requirements

• Assist with EIB’s (for acquisitions, annual changes, etc.)

• Learn Workday business process support as back-up role

• Support system security

Long term: (6 to 12 months and beyond)

• Complete cross training for Workday functional areas

• Identify, research and lead improvement processes regarding HRIS to support global requirements

• Support in processing of EIB’s (acquisitions, annual changes, etc.)

• Support and participate in preparation, testing and configuration for upgrade enhancements 

Basic Background Requirements

You will need:

•         HR Business Process experience

•         A willingness to work flexible hours to support global needs

•         Fluent in English language

•         Ability to work with all levels of the organization

•         Systems oriented

•         HRIS security and reporting experience

•         Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or other related field or equivalent work experience
