About the Role
As a Centralized Staffing Specialist, you will execute the hourly staffing strategy to ensure locations have the appropriate staff to meet business objectives and increase employee engagement.
What You’ll Do
-
Use the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to advance candidates through the hiring process
-
Provide daily work progress to the Team Lead
-
Execute best practices, communication, hiring and processes to achieve staffing goals
-
Maintain confidentiality with all records and information
-
Update communication and documentation in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
-
Ensure applications are complete and applicants are accurately executing the hiring process within ATS
-
Communicate accurately and effectively with candidates and/or peers
-
Support, communicate and champion Kohl’s hourly staffing direction
-
Additional tasks may be assigned
-
Conduct initial review of high-volume of applicants and job requisitions for multiple locations daily

Perform outreach to source the candidate pipeline

Answer general candidate questions

Create and post job requisitions for multiple locations

Create offers and processes a high volume of candidates through the hiring process in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
What Skills You Have
Required

High school diploma or equivalent
-
Ability to work as a team and effectively interact with others in a work environment
-
Ability to quickly react and change direction as needed
-
Attention to detail
-
Ability to exercise discretion when dealing with sensitive information regarding candidates
-
Ability to work with multiple computer screens and knowledge of computer systems such as Google
Preferred
-
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
-
Previous HR experience
-
Prior retail experience and or high-volume recruiting
-
Working knowledge of Workday
-
Experience assisting recruiting efforts for hourly positions
-
Extended and weekend availability may be required
