Job Responsibilities

  • Develop pipeline of hourly plant-based talent for immediate fill
  • Deliver full life-cycle recruiting, source, screen and prepare candidates for interviews
  • Present plant management with qualified candidates
  • Work closely with the Talent Coordinator to schedule onsite interviews
  • Extend offers and submit background checks
  • Maintain high volume job requisition load to be able to fill with quick turnaround times
  • Maintain time to fill and inclusion and diversity trackers
  • Work with temporary agencies as needed for temp workers
  • Maintain regular communication with plant management on current and future filling needs
  • Determine selection criteria
  • Attend career fairs, trade schools, and labor halls to develop network and pipeline of talent
  • Maintain Applicant Tracking requirements in Workday for all hourly positions
  • Provide support and direction to all plants on the application process
  • Assist in other talent acquisition activities as needed including, general career fairs, networking events and other branding initiatives
  • Support the intern program as necessary
  • Other duties as assigned


  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related.  Five years of experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • One to three years of recruiting experience; experience recruiting skilled labor preferred.
  • Strong organizational and multiple tasking skills
  • Ability to practice and maintain strict confidentiality on sensitive issues
  • Must be a self-starter who does not require constant supervision
  • Knowledge and understanding of local, state, and federal employment laws
  • Ability to communicate clearly, professionally and empathetically
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point)
  • Strong service orientation, social perceptiveness and active listening skills
  • Demonstrates strong planning skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal communication and relationship-building skills
  • Comfortable communicating with employees on all levels of the organization
  • Experience with Workday preferred
  • Human resources certification preferred
  • Working with unions preferred
  • Willingness to travel up to 15%
