Job Description
Essential Responsibilities
-
Participate/support KHMS and assist in the development of the system and operational standards and corrective actions.

Track employee’s records.
-
Interpret union contract and factory rules and policies.
-
Input daily manning changes from timekeeper sheets, timecard messages, and copy manning schedules.
-
Input and check production labor codes for all departments.
-
Print and pass out timekeeper’s sheets, and next day’s sheets to supervisors for each department, per shift.
-
Run and check absent employee report, invalid employee report, still clock in report, time report by employee by department for all shifts, clock in/clock out report.
-
Save clock in/out report, daily timecard report and weekly timecard report.
-
Input employees from sign in sheet in Production office.
-
Charge off labor changes and complete, save and file spreadsheets for return to vendor, rework, R&D testing.
-
Use reports to load information into overtime spreadsheets.
-
Run preliminary daily timecard reports and pass out to supervisors, and run final to close the day’s production.
-
Input labor hours into manning hours database.
-
Close daily production for prior week, close for payroll, give total hours report to payroll.
-
Complete procedures for period end close.

Run GL interface report for Corporate
-
Run and check guaranteed hours report, and not posted/pick up report.
-
Run and check pick up report.
-
Track and input vacation pay, floating holiday pay, non-union sick pay, and bereavement pay.
-
Complete and file vacation request slips.
-
Track, run, and file holiday pay.
-
Figure, track and input time card adjustments.
-
Design and implement spreadsheets and forms.
-
Ensures payroll payments are made in conformance with the Union contract.
-
Interpret union contract and factory rules and policies.
-
Approve all time card adjustments prior to pay close
-
Sets priorities to adapt to the constant changing requirements of the factory.
-
Manage union and non-union attendance and issuing disciplines in a timely manner
-
Workday recruiting and processing.
-
Document and maintain files and documents.
-
Manage processing of temporary workers.
-
Manage Day to day temporary workers (When off the schedule etc.)
-
Assists with FMLA management in Sedgwick.
-
Assists with weekly checkbook.
-
Development of best practices, implementation and auditing for continuous improvement.
-
Manage the bidding system according to the labor agreement and ensure employees are moved to new positions within 90 calendar days.
-
Monitor and manage floaters working a job for 30 calendar days and assign them a bid according to the labor agreement.

Sets up and maintains training room facilities and equipment.
-
Conducts orientation and tours as needed.
-
Participant of departmental or factory subcommittees.
-
Participant of factory and community events.
-
Must be flexible to work any shift.

Education and Experience
-
Associates degree in Accounting, Business or related experience preferred.
-
Two (2) to five (5) years in office administrative experience preferred.

Ability to multitask and work in a team oriented fast-paced environment.
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities

Must be well organized with excellent phone skills

Excellent computer skills with prominent knowledge of MS Office

Knowledge of factory operation preferably in food

Excellent math and analytical skills

Ability to communicate effectively with all employees and our corporate partners

Excellent presentation skills and the ability to respond to questions from groups of managers and other employees

Ability to work flexible schedule to include days, afternoons, midnights, and overtime

The noise level in the work environment is usually high, and ear protection is required.
