Krause Group is searching for a Compensation Analyst that will provide a broad range of analysis and administration of Krause Group/Kum & Go’s compensation programs by supporting the design, administration of pay structures, incentive programs, market benchmarking and job analysis, and base pay equity analysis. These efforts, in turn, support and impact the organization’s overall Total Rewards initiatives and philosophy.

What you’ll do

  • Lead the administration for annual survey and benchmark review 

  • Prepare data for compensation surveys; analyze a conducts market pricing activity

  • Compile and analyze market data of all benchmark jobs by conducting periodic salary surveys

  • Evaluates new and revised positions and recommends appropriate salary grade/range of jobs

  • Monitors internal equity pay issues to maintain fair pay practices by analyzing incumbent job levels and salaries.

  • Reviews, evaluates, interprets, and ensures compensation programs comply with laws, rules, and policy/procedures. Updates documents on HR policies and procedures related to compensation

  • Develops and recommends salary range information new and existing associates

  • Support anniversary and annual merit and incentive processes.

  • Prepare and analyze compensation reports for business stakeholders, Grow People and Leadership.

  • Support the ongoing development of the Workday Advanced Compensation module.

  • Recommend, build, and continuously improve compensation dashboards and reporting.

What we’re looking for

  • Human Resources experience with experience supporting diversified compensation activities or HR systems. 

  • Direct compensation experience: specifically, with salary administration, preferred.

  • Must be familiar with Federal/State wage and hour wage regulations, national/local labor markets

  • Prior experience in benchmarking positions

  • Prior experience with Workday, PeopleSoft and/or other HRIS people management knowledge is also required.

  • High level of proficiency in MS Excel (e.g. formulas, pivot table and other data visuals), Word and PowerPoint.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Must have a proven record of experience working with highly confidential data.

  • Relocation to the Des Moines, IA area is required
