The HR Coordinators Team Lead position is responsible for the accurate and timely delivery of the day-to-day operational Global Employee Life Cycle (ELC) Services within the Costa Rica Service Hub. The post holder will be responsible for driving country transitions in accordance with the Global HR Operations model, team management and development, and driving quality and SLA compliance. The post holder will also be the first point of contact for escalations, complex queries, and managing key Stakeholder relationships.

Key responsibilities:

  • Ensures the team delivers accurate and timely HR administrative support to stakeholders such as new starters, current employees, managers, and the HR community, ensuring adherence to HR procedures and processes

  • Motivates and develops the team by utilizing attendance, performance, and career development tools, and processes

  • Owns and oversees the transition of administrative services from countries within each region into the Costa Rica Hub; providing trackable project plans and regular updates to the key stakeholders

  • Produces statistical information to share with the Regional Lead and Supervisor demonstrating volume, quality/accuracy, and SLA compliance

  • Interacts and works closely with other HR Services teams and the wider HR Community to deliver best-in-practice services to the Business

  • Ensure Managers, Employees, and the HR community are adequately informed on changes, processes, and developments to the function

  • Assumes ownership for performance against HR Services objectives for areas of responsibility.

  • Drive continuous improvement to increase productivity, quality, and service.

  • Lead ad-hoc projects as necessary and perform other duties as assigned.

Key requirements:

  • Advanced English and German Level (written and verbal).

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, Engineering, or related areas.

  • At least 2 years of experience in a leadership position preferably in HR Services, leading regional or global service delivery teams.

  • Demonstrated experience managing and supporting HR service transition implementations, using project management methodologies.

  • Process improvement mindset, with experience using Lean Six Sigma methodology.

  • Proficient in Operational Metrics, reporting (KPIs, Dashboards), and Working Instructions, Process Mapping knowledge.

  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability.

  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple, competing priorities.

  • Good knowledge of Workday, HR Processes, and working experience with CRM/ServiceNow.

  • Experienced and efficient handling of standard IT Applications, preferably MS Office & MS Visio.
