The People Analytics Senior Specialist will be central to our workforce analytics and insight strategy – to continue our journey from workforce reporting to acting as an insight consultancy; co-creating with our internal customers on the metrics-that-matter most for influencing desired outcomes. This role will help us to streamline and automate foundational reporting, architect and design new dashboards, and interact with internal customers for continuous improvement of our analytical efforts.
Creation of Dashboards – as per guidance from leadership and in alignment with the HRIS team, develop dashboards within Workday or related tools (centered on such topics as diversity and inclusion, talent retention, internal movement, etc.) that display data in ways to foster understanding and action
Continuously Improve Dashboards – insight needs will be evolving, this role will partner with key stakeholders and internal customers to progressively enhance dashboards in terms of the data and analytics provided and to improve the user-experience
Consult on Dashboard Insights & User Education – work directly with HR professionals to operationalize data – sharing key insights from the dashboards and teaching users how to best utilize different dashboard tools to better support their business and their talent strategies
Challenge our Ways of Working – stay current on Workday capabilities and types of analytics or visual representations and use this knowledge to encourage ways to better automate and display our analytical efforts
Manage Special Projects and Ad Hoc Requests – provide support as needed to data requests and custom needs as well as take on project roles related to workforce analytics
Experience in Human Resources, particularly related to workforce analytics
Workday HCM experience and capabilities (e.g., report writer, dashboards, metrics / scorecards)
Familiarity with Workday discovery boards, worksheets, and Prism (preferred)
Microsoft Office product suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), including a strong ability to visually convey information and insights through graphs, charts, and other means
Familiarity with design thinking concepts (preferred)
Effective verbal and written communication skills with comfort presenting to management
Ability to maintain confidentiality when working with confidential HR and proprietary data
